Terms of Use
Tanki is provided by Nine Five Limited ("we", "us"). By using Tanki you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
Tanki shows UK fuel prices from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder scheme so you can find cheaper fuel nearby. It's free to use, with an optional paid upgrade, Tanki Pro.
Prices may be out of date
Retailers report prices to the Fuel Finder scheme, and there can be a delay before changes reach Tanki. Prices, opening hours and fuel availability can be wrong or out of date. Always check the price at the pump.
Don't use Tanki while driving
Only use Tanki when it's safe and legal, for example when parked or when a passenger is using it.
Tanki Pro
- What you get: no ads, road distances, "worth the drive" ranking, unlimited price alerts and vehicles, price history, a 100-mile search radius, the "fill now or wait" forecast, local insights, the trip planner, favourite price-drop alerts and fuel log stats. Features may vary by platform.
- Price: £1.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month, and your Apple or Google account is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
- Refunds: Apple and Google handle payments and refunds under their own policies.
We may change Pro features or the price. We'll tell you before a price change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
Promo codes
Promo codes give Pro access for a set time. They're tied to the device you redeem them on, can't be transferred or exchanged for money, and can be withdrawn if misused.
Fair use
Don't misuse Tanki. That means no scraping or automated access, no interfering with or overloading our servers, and no reverse-engineering the app. The Tanki name, design and code belong to us. Price data comes from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder scheme.
Our responsibility to you
Tanki is provided as it is. We're not responsible for losses caused by relying on prices or station details, or for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending access
We may suspend access if you break these terms. You can stop using Tanki at any time. Deleting the app doesn't cancel Pro, so cancel in your store settings.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and continuing to use Tanki means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring claims in your local courts.
