By downloading, installing, or using Tanki, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

Tanki is a fuel price comparison app for the United Kingdom. It displays fuel station prices sourced from GOV.UK and EV charger data from Open Charge Map. The app is provided for informational purposes to help you find nearby fuel at competitive prices.

Subscription (Tanki Pro)

Tanki Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features including real driving distances, no ads, unlimited price alerts, price history charts, extended search radius, and multiple vehicle profiles.

• Price: £1.99 per month
• Free trial: 7 days. You will not be charged during the trial period. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
• Billing: Your subscription renews automatically each month. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged £1.99 at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law or store policy.

Promo codes

Promotional codes may grant temporary or lifetime Pro access. Promo access is tied to your device and cannot be transferred. Promo codes are provided at our discretion and may be revoked if misused.

Data accuracy

Fuel prices are sourced from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder service and are updated regularly. However, prices may not always reflect the current price at the pump. Station availability, opening hours, and fuel stock may change without notice. Tanki does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed. Always confirm the price at the station before fuelling.

EV charging data

EV charger information is sourced from Open Charge Map, a community-maintained database. Charger availability, pricing, connector types, and operational status may not always be current. Verify details before travelling to a charging station.

Your responsibilities

You agree to use Tanki only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the app or its servers. You must not use the app while driving — always pull over safely before interacting with it.

Intellectual property

Tanki, its design, code, and branding are owned by us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on fuel price data, missed savings, or travel decisions made based on information in the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
